The Freedom & Virtue Review promotes discussion of issues related to the cultivation of human dignity and flourishing; political, economic, and religious liberty; and the virtues that support these ends, such as justice, prudence, and charity.

FVR seeks to publish thoughtful, informed essays, book reviews, and commentaries that are civil in tone and accessible to a wide reading audience. We are focused on research with clear practical applications rather than speculative or theoretical scholarship. Within our commitment to the principles of Western civilization such as individual liberty, religious freedom, democratic and market institutions, and realist philosophy, we welcome authors from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds and philosophical, political, and theological viewpoints.
